The Project Coordinator will ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards by managing resources, schedules, and communication. This role will work closely with project managers and team members (Internal and external) to facilitate project execution, track progress, and identify potential issues.

Major Responsibilities

  • Overseeing project timelines, setting and managing deadlines, and coordinating meetings with team members and stakeholders.
  • Managing project documentation, updating deliverables, ensuring proper documentation, and facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with resource allocation, ensuring that team members have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Assisting with budget preparation, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within budget
  • Identifying and addressing potential risks, ensuring seamless project progress and integrations
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and reporting them to the project manager.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, setting up meetings, and managing project logistics
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
  • Coordinates activities between EV project team, business units, internal IT departments and third-party suppliers and customers
  • Assists with supplier/invoice management and tracking
  • Drives task management for First Student tasks
  • Help to identify project risks and manage risk register
  • Creates and reviews third party status reporting for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinates/facilitates project meetings on behalf of Project Managers
  • Ensures all project materials are well organized and available for Audit



Minimum Education or Certifications Required

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing team-based projects
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication, writing and critical thinking skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to advance within the organization



Minimum Experience or Skills Required

  • Strong Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to utilize office equipment such as copiers, and phone systems; able to use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
  • Professional demeanor and confidence to work in an advanced corporate setting.
