At First Student, our Dispatchers are an integral part of daily operations. They serve as the central point of communication for drivers, school district staff, and internal teams, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for the communities we serve.

Dispatcher Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure on-time performance
Maintain accurate records of routes, assignments, and driver availability
Communicate effectively with school district personnel and drivers
Respond to service issues and coordinate solutions in real time
Support management with daily operational needs
Dispatcher Qualifications:
Previous dispatch, scheduling, or transportation experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)
High school diploma or equivalent required
