We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Damage Claims Intern to support our Auto Liability Property Damage Claims team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the insurance claims process, focusing on investigative and administrative support. The intern will assist adjusters in the administration of property damage claims resulting from motor vehicle collisions involving our Company vehicles, contributing to efficient and compliant claims handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist adjusters in gathering and organizing evidence for claims investigations, including photos, videos, maintenance records, and other relent investigative materials.
  • Request and track police reports and other official documentation.
  • Prepare and send compliance letters and other routine correspondence.
  • Support total loss vehicle processing, including documentation and coordination with vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records and update claim files with relevant information.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, file organization, and report generation.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and external parties as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Interest in insurance, claims handling, or legal processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
