Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily driver schedules and bus routes.
Communicate effectively with drivers, school officials, and site managers.
Respond promptly to unexpected issues such as delays, absences, or vehicle breakdowns.
Update route assignments, vehicle logs, and driver time sheets.
Use dispatch software and internal systems to manage operations.
Support drivers with compliance, safety, and service-related matters.
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure vehicle availability.
Assist with onboarding and training of new drivers.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dispatching or logistics, preferably in transportation.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with Winnipeg's neighborhoods and roadways is an asset.
Proficiency with computer systems (Excel, dispatch software).
Availability to work early mornings and/or late afternoons as needed
