About the Role
As a Paratransit Quality Control Employee, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and cleanliness of our fleet and facility. This position ensures that buses are fueled, inspected, and ready for service every day, directly supporting our mission to provide safe, dependable transportation for the community.
What You'll Do
Fuel & Fluids: Fuel all buses and service vehicles, check fluid levels (oil, antifreeze, transmission, power steering, washer fluid, etc.), and top off as needed
Vehicle Quality: Inspect buses for damage during fueling, check tire pressure and wear, and report issues to the shop
Cleanliness: Clean and detail bus interiors and exteriors; maintain facility grounds
Fleet Management Support: Reposition buses in the lot to support dispatch, and assist with light maintenance tasks (seat repairs, lamp replacements, mirror adjustments, jump starts, and radio installations)
Parts & Records: Deliver parts and buses as needed; keep accurate fuel, delivery, and inventory reports
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements, and support preventive maintenance efforts
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history (not including learner's or provisional licenses)
At least 21 years of age
Experience with vehicle fueling, cleaning, or detailing a plus
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must pass a DOT physical and drug test (Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, are prohibited by federal law)
